When studying in Hong Kong last year, introducing myself as Scott from Scotland just worked.. I’m losing my blog and Twitter virginity at the same time here, so constructive criticism from the internet veterans is welcomed!

I started this blog as a way of forcing myself to consider – and have an opinion on – some of the most prevalent issues in today’s international business environment. Advances in technology have catalysed innovation in marketing strategy, and combined with the dynamic nature of consumers and unpredictable global economies, it can be difficult to keep up to date with everything going on in the industry. Hopefully, this will keep me familiar with “all things marketing” as I try and keep the content fresh.

It would be nice to connect with anyone who shares a view on my posts, and can reinforce or challenge my view. Let me know what you think about anything I have, or should have been talking about.
